You are invited to join us on Saturday, August 30 for an afternoon of fun in the park. Come for a free lunch, snow-cones, yard games for the whole family, and a sailboat race!

The buffet opens at 11:30am, come grab lunch for your family and stay for the fun.
Sailboat Race Fundraiser: The Celebrating Family event will conclude with a sailboat race in Rapid Creek at 1:00pm. Pick up a sailboat before the event, decorate or modify it to your liking, and bring it to the race!
The boats will be dropped into Rapid Creek and raced to the storybook island bridge. A $20 registration donation is suggested, and prizes will be awarded for the fastest boat, the best designed boat, and the boat that raised the most to support the cause!
If you would like to pick up a boat beforehand to customize, stop by the Family Voice office to pick up a kit. Boats are available anytime after July 28, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm at 2620 Jackson Blvd.
Additional boats will be available the day of the event, with an opportunity to decorate them before the race.
